Wards Cycling Holidays provide a fully supported and guided circular tour of the Yorkshire Dales. The tour starts and finishes at the spa town of Ilkley, beneath the famous Ilkley Moor and the Cow and Calf rocks. You will stay in the picturesque Dales villages of Malham, Hawes, Reeth and Grassington during your holiday.
There are two rides setting off along the side of the river Wharfe, a steady Touring Ride (25-35 miles per day) and a more testing Sportive Ride (50-60 miles per day). We would recommend a triple or compact chain set for the longer ride. Both tours start together and meet at the end of the day and it is possible to swap between tours each day if you need an easier/harder day. The tour will be mostly along traffic free roads, taking in the best of the stunning scenery in the Yorkshire Dales. We will be cycling through traditional picturesque villages along river valleys and over green upland pastures separated by dry-stone walls.

• Support vehicle, recovery of rider and bike to next overnight stop if needed

Your luggage will be transported each day and will be waiting for you at your B&B accommodation. Your guide will lead you through the myriad of little country lanes and make sure nobody gets lost or is left behind. So, all you have to do is cycle and enjoy the scenery!
